Our players have worked with major recording artists, producers and film composers including: Trevor Jones, Mike Scott, Nico Muhly, Richard Hawley, Jarvis Cocker, Paul Heaton, Thea Gilmore, Badly Drawn Boy & Duane Eddy.

The Up North Session Orchestra provide any combination of instruments, strings, wind, brass & percussion - from soloists to full orchestra. We have excellent connections with studios, producers and engineers in the North. We also provide original scores if required, our in house arrangers work alongside the client to create bespoke parts for any instrument combination. 

We regularly provide musicians for Solo Artists, Bands, Film scores, Library music, Video Game Scores & Advert Pitches.

Also available live, the Up North Session Orchestra can provide full orchestra backing for tours, live film scores, TV shows, collaborations and large scale events.
